“Wow! Looks good!” With this thought, I tossed the paper box into my bag.
I was waiting in the hospital to see an ENT doctor for an hour. Absent minded, I picked up a three fold promotional leaflet of a Cell phone company. I started playing with it by folding and re-folding the ends. After some 30 minutes, I got a neat box in my hand. I tossed the paper box into my bag and soon I forgot about it.

I don’t know how many zeroes are there in ‘50 million.’ That much dollars is huge money and I will never get a chance to own such a magnificent number in my whole life.
A technology group in a large IT (Information Technology) firm recently crossed 50 million dollars in business. This group works in Telecom Domain. To mark the occasion, they are planning a celebration and needs a logo to be printed on gift articles and posters. The brief was that the logo should capture the essence of the celebration to mark this milestone. This logo design was an open contest and I was fortunate enough to send two designs to them.
There should be a ‘50,’ there should be a ‘Million’ and there should be a ‘$.’ This was the thought in my mind. After a dozen attempts, I came up with a line drawing.

My friend is getting married next month. After inviting all of us in person, he is planning to send an e-mail three days prior to the event as a reminder. His requirement was simple. He needs a stylish invitation in JPG format to use in the ‘reminder’ e-mail. I agreed to do this for him.
After a couple of days, he gave me more specifications. He sent me a small poem to appear on the invitation. He wanted clutter free and no frill fonts to facilitate easy reading.

Right hand bottom corner of my screen shows 6:08AM IST, Wednesday, May 21, 2008. This is an auspicious time to start the first blog in my life. To be frank, a crude form of my blog has been a regular in my College Yahoo Groups since 2001. After getting so much ‘little’ attention and seldom replies or comments from my friends, the crude blog met with a silent death.
I want to win an Oscar some day. As on today, the Academy does not give away Oscars in Electronics Engineering. So, after serious and lazy thoughts, I have decided to become a designer. What designer, even I don’t know, only time can tell.
