MobileSparks is YourStory’s conference on mobile. The 2015 edition happened in Bengaluru on August 7th and 8th. Yours truly attended this conference.

It was my first time attending a time bound photography spot event. It makes you feel the pressure when big things are at stake. In this case, the prizes at offer were phenomenal.
There were two themes given during the day in two session. First one was “Tranquility”. I had two images to choose from for the submission.
Second theme was “Chaos”.

The first post in antzFxWay was published on May 2008. It’s been 6 years since we have been making our presence in the web.
Our own voice
Initially, it was antzfx‘s effort that ran the blog. 6 months down the line, fullfx – me, realized that I can contribute too to the blog in a meaningful way. Since then, between us, we have published 182 posts in total.
We have met new people, made new friends, interacted with masters in their respective field during these years. It has been exciting and most rewarding to us.
For all the effort that was put into making new content, it is disconcerting to see the response being somewhat lukewarm. The Bounce rate is alarming. So is Avg. Session Duration. So is every other metric.

‘We are humans’
Since we are humans, we may be tempted to click on a ‘fun’ video in Facebook that is liked by one of our friends. The moment you click on the ‘play’ button, you will be redirected to a website and then some scripts get executed.
The result? All your friends and the world will see that you liked the video. This leads to more clicks. In addition to this ‘auto liking,’ I strongly believe that these scripts may lift your personal data. So what can we do?

Who is more powerful? Darth Vader or Thor? VW Passat came up with a video that shows a small boy dressed as Darth Vader who manages to start a car using the ‘force’ (How? See the video in the following link). Marvel Comics made a spoof of this for the promotion of the new film ‘Thor.’ I am not spoiling the plot, see the video.
